Boreal Forest Landscape Dynamics Simulator

BFOLDS is a spatially explicit simulation model designed to explore the probabilistic nature of large scale wildfire regimes and forest cover changes in boreal forest landscapes. It is a quantitative synthesis of our current knowledge about fire science and forest succession.
